The guide contains information (correct as of July 2025) about each of the courses to help you make an informed decision about which course may be best for you to apply to.

The guide contains:

• Reflection pages to allow you to reflect on what your values are to compare with the courses
• One place you can find all the information about each of the courses
• Insight from current trainees on each of the courses (that might be slightly less censored than in the Alternative Handbook!)

The accompanying Matrix spreadsheet is fully customisable and you can add to it to make it personal to you. You can filter by course, psychotherapeutic models, ethos & values, shortlisting tests, disability confident scheme, contextual admissions, etc. This is designed to help you strategically apply to whichever courses you may be most likely to be offered an interview on.
